Follow up on Demand Media article

After publishing the article: ” Are you ready for huge changes in media content creation” I posted it on Microstockgroup as I felt that it would be an interesting development for microstock photographers.

While some in the forum see the production of vast amount of content as a threat others mention that in fact there are allready production companies churning out microstock photography flooding the markets now. While many feel that the content coming out of Demand Media’s process is low quality it has built a business that is now bigger than Istockphoto. Join the debate in the forum or comment here.

The bottomline seems to be that this is going to get bigger and it’s ever more important to find a niche or specialism and focus on personal work that can not easily be replicated.
