Alamy to re-design home page through competition

Alamy is launching a competition to re-design its home page. The agency, which has just celebrated its 10th anniversary, is offering designers the chance of winning up to $3.000,* by coming up with some fresh, innovative and exciting ideas. It wants to create two new home pages:

  1. To be seen by first-time and infrequent visitors to the site – we want to make a strong impression.
  2. To be seen by our regular customers. This needs to have the same functionality as our current home page but with even less noise!

You may enter a design for either the home page for new visitors, or the home page for our regular customers, or both. You may enter more than once, but each design needs to be significantly different. More details can be found here on the Alamy website

*Prize fund will be $3,000/£2,000/€3,000 depending on where you live. It’s divide by 2 for an equal price for each website.

    That should have been done quite some time ago. Look forward to the new design.
    Hopefully they’ll make the right choice.

      Alamy are very tight lipped about who won this…..if indeed anyone did!
