Twitter business application in testing

Twitter has made it clear it is in no rush to start making money. It did mention before that it would add features for businesses. It has no launched a feature called Contributors. It allows businesses to manage multiple contributors to their corporate account. This way the conversation can become more personal.

Here’s an example of how it would workfor Twitter itself: If @Twitter invites @Biz to tweet on its behalf, then a tweet from @Twitter would include @Biz in the byline so that users know more about the real people behind organizations.

This feature is one of several in development; some of them will be visible to regular users and some of them will not. The beta version is open for feedback right now. via Twitter Blog.
