4corners photographer receives World Press Photo award

Photographer Tommaso Ausili, a contributor at London based 4Corners images has won the third price in the contemporary issue category for a set of twelve images that “thoughtfully explores the automation of life and death in an abattoir”. 4Corners now represents 4 award winning photographers, these are the others:

  • Luciano Gaudenzio won First Prize in the “Magnificent Wilderness” category of the International Glanzlichter Photo Award 2009.
  • Franco Cogoli won Croatia’s Zlatna Penkala 2008
  • Massimo Mastrorillo won First Prize in the Nature Category of the World Press Photo Competition 2005
