Leading music execs explain why keeping up with change is key

In an interview by Techcrunch the managers of popstar Lady Gaga and new discovery Justin Bieber explain why they visited an event about new media and why they were surprised they were the only two people from the music industry in attendance. They talk about how they had to adjust to huge changes in the music industry. They also highlight how they have adapted (both are big fans of YouTube) and where they think the changes in the businessmodel will bring them.

Troy Carter, CEO of Coalition Media and the manager of Lady Gaga, and Scooter Braun, Founder of SB Projects and the manager of Justin Bieber, oversee two very different performers but when it comes to the philosophy behind their online strategy, the managers speak the same language.
