Alamy to launch iPhone App

The team at Alamy is preparing for the launch of an iPhone app that will show the images of its contributors. From the Alamy blog:

We have been working on an app for iPad which will showcase a selection of stunning imagery from Alamy contributors. The app is currently awaiting review from the people at Apple so the exact launch date is as yet unknown, once we know it’s live we’ll let everyone know. The free app is a fantastic opportunity to push the Alamy brand across iPad’s user base whilst providing a stimulating gallery of extraordinary imagery that will appeal to all lovers of photography.

So, please pass the word on to anyone you know with an iPad and if you do take a look at it, love it or hate it we’d love you to rate it on the Apple site. Keep an eye on the app store and on this blog and Twitter for the latest news
