Amazon Launches Tablet For $199 And Revolutionary Browsing

Today Amazon is launching its new full color tablet, the Kindle Fire With it comes a new way to browse where the device becomes an extension of the Amazon cloud allowing for much faster result. The tablet comes at half the price of tablets like the iPad but does miss some of the functionality. The video here shows the new browser experience that Amazon calls Silk. It’s fairly technical but worth a look as it shows how the could is becoming an ever more integrated and invisible part of our daily work and media consumption.
