Extortionletterinfo.com Versus Stock Library Copyright Letters

In reaction to letters that Getty Images and other stock libraries have been sending out for unauthorised usage the website extortionletterinfo.com is focussing on informing and supporting recipients of these letters. It’s founders say the site is focussed on ‘Reporting on Getty Images & Stockphoto settlement demand letters (copyright trolls, extortion letters, shakedown letters)’

The website has been established in 2008 and recently reported record traffic levels of traffic and has worked with over 1.500 people that wanted support with those letters. The site also lists a number of other stockphoto sites that are sending out letters. Here’s the two latest 2012 interviews. They’re a bit long but if you want to know more just watch the first few minutes.
