No one likes September. The summer ends, work starts, the days get shorter, nights get longer and those holiday snaps now seem to be faded memories. September, to put it plainly, is just grim. Undeniably however, a music group, formed in the 70s, didn’t care for this negativity. These “innovative, precise yet sensual, calculated yet galvanizing” heroes known as Earth, Wind and Fire released a song, titled September in 1978, that never fails to bring a smile to the face of the listener.
