“Selfie” was undoubtedly one of, if not the word of 2013 according to the Oxford Dictionary, and it continues to monopolise our online social presence . A trend that was hard to escape as everyone got in on the action to the point where even our beloved pets were involved (it must takes some tough training teaching a dog how to use a smartphone!). As with all ‘in vogue’ visual trends, the advertising industry was quick to jump in on the bandwagon making for a real dog eat dog world!
