Street photography’s popularity lies not only in the dynamism and energy of its subjects, but also the stories that remain partially complete allowing every individual to create their own interpretation of the shot: ‘who they are?’, ‘what they’re doing?’, ‘what are they thinking?’ etc.

New York City based photographer David Lykes Keenan’s book release entitled ‘Fair Witness: Street Photography for the 21st Century‘ is a testament to the work he’s captured over the years.
