Wi-Fi enabled card manufacturer Eyefi released a list of “the Top 30 Most Influential Photographers on the Web” last week after commissioning Mark Fidelman, a Forbes contributor and CEO of two marketing agencies. Lists, of course, are social media currency in contemporary culture as seen by the success of sites like Buzzfeed, Mashable, Huffington Post, etc. And all the better to compile a list of social influencers so that they can tweet your list for you. The well-executed campaign surely generated good traffic to Eyefi.
