Ricoh is releasing a Lightroom plugin that will let owners of its Pentax 645Z medium format camera shoot tethered using Adobe’s popular imaging program.

Pentax 645Z owners could use the existing Image Transfer 2 software ($199), which supports image transfer and camera control over a USB connection, but the new plugin allows photographers the ability to import files directly into Lightroom.

The plugin is free and available to download here.
