Picapp launches wordpress plugin

Picapp has built a plugin for WordPress that allows bloggers to use millions of images of some of the world’s largest Stock libraries for free. Since the announcement the plugin has been downloaded almost 5.000 times (and that includes this website). It show a gallery and search area that allows search through both editorial and creative collections directly from the WordPress dashboard.

Although it’s fairly intrusive on the posting page it appears to be quick and easy to use (although there’s no advanced search). I found it extremely easy to upload the image below. I simply clicked on the image, selected the size and position and the image appeared in this post as below. It is likely that I would continue to use other sources though as I find the advertising still a bit intrusive.
